Us
Riñinahuel is the result of a series of social experiments designed to raise awareness among the population about environmental protection and the care and respect for the waters of the Los Ríos and Los Lagos regions. Initially, we began by creating fly-fishing schools for children, which allowed us, among other things, to participate in promotional campaigns for recreational fishing alongside Sernatur (the National Tourism Service) and other private entities. We also established public-private working groups to strengthen recreational fishing both at the local and regional levels.
In 2011, the company began as a fishing outfitter and guided fishing business in the Ranco Basin. In 2013, operations expanded, offering guided tours with updated equipment and extending to other waters beyond the basin.
Currently, Riñinahuel is a well-established company dedicated to fly fishing tours in the Ranco Basin and other waters of the Los Lagos Region. It also acts as a bridge between different fishing companies, promoting catch and release fishing and providing education. Furthermore, it collaborates as a sponsor in various practical and commercial events with other entities in the Los Ríos and Los Lagos Regions.
In addition to its fishing operations, Riñinahuel actively collaborates with government entities such as Sernatur, Sernapesca, Corfo, and Sercotec, among others, which generate initiatives to strengthen tourism development and promote recreational fishing. As a tourism company, we are certified by Sernatur, Chile Valora, and by safety companies that provide training in first aid and wilderness rescue (WAFA – WFR). We have been able to connect with international agencies, exporting our product and participating in international fairs and congresses such as Achet, ATTA, and FFA.
In recent years, we opened a small fly shop to distribute fishing equipment, aiming to provide our customers and anglers with high-quality, useful products such as fly boxes from the renowned Cliff Outdoors brand, Measure Net nets, Rio lines, and other gear.
Finally, we have acquired in-depth knowledge of the area where we fish, which allows us to know where to go, at what time of season, and with what equipment options. To this end, we provide our customers with top-quality service in every aspect, making fishing with Riñinahuel a great choice.
